What do you want to know? Thoughts about being a Travel Advisor

“So, what’s the best part about being a travel advisor?”

It’s a question I receive often. And my response is always a complex one, because of course, the answer is impossible to distill into just a single thing.

There’s the travel perks, of course. The opportunities to see the world; always learning more about the terrific destinations I get to share with my clients.

I like the comradery. Being part of a greater community of talented travel advisors that seek to serve by opening the doors of the world for others.

But when it comes to my favorite part, it’s playing the role of the pathfinder. By listening to learn about who my clients are as unique individuals and what makes them enlivened-then, taking that knowledge to reveal the places they can to travel to and enjoy those cool things about who they are.

Figuring out what are the paths that might lead them there? What are the experiences I could introduce them to that will ignite? Which elements unique to that place in the world will speak to who they are? What might be learned by traveling to this city that could be personally significant? I love to build that pathway of exploration for my clients.

We all have ways we form connections, and when we can use our travels as opportunities to discover new relationships about how we relate to our world, we are rewarded.

When we share our connections with our loved ones we create memories that last our lifetime and theirs.

So that’s what it is for me. A chance to be a part of something bigger. To give a little something from myself and share it with you.

So, tell me! What is it you want to know more about? Yourself? Your interests? Your passions? Let’s schedule a phone conversation and figure out where those will take you on your next adventure.
